At the TX CASA Conference in October, Joe Gagan, TX CASA Executive Director (seated in center), announced distinguished recognition for CASA of Collin County. The CASA program’s conference attendees included, from left, Mary Woodson, Jenny Haynes, Kathy Blank, Susan Etheridge, Cheryl Williams, Margaret O’Neil, Virginia Barrett, Joanna Halteman and Patsy McGeehon.

The mission of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Collin County, Inc. is to provide trained community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children involved in the court system. The ultimate goal is for the volunteers to be a voice for these children in court; the result is that each child is placed into a safe, loving home where he or she can thrive.
