The Children: Who are they?

  • CASA advocates for 100% of the abused and neglected children that have been removed from their home and placed under the jurisdiction Collin County District Courts.

  • Over 75% of our children are 12 years or younger.

  • More than 25% of CASA’s caseload involves physical abuse victims.

How the Children Benefit from CASA

  • Advocacy in court to promote the child's best interests through services, treatment, and placement

  • Care and support from an objective adult who is focused on that child's needs

  • Attention from the same volunteer throughout the proceedings

  • Focus on the child's best interests being maintained by all concerned
